Women in Ag presents.. CONNECT - The Heart of the Farm Conference

Women in Ag is very excited to take on the CONNECT – The Heart of the Farm conference this year.  With a mission to empower, support and connect women in agriculture, while strengthening the industry as a whole, we felt the CONNECT Conference was a perfect fit for our organization.

This Conference is designed to celebrate women in agriculture.  Farm women are often at the centre of every farm operation.  They run equipment, deliver calves, do the books, get parts, market grain, cook the meals, and everything in between. These women deserve to be celebrated for their contribution to the industry.

In previous years... Kristjan Hebert taught us the 5% Rule and the importance of effectively managing our time.  Celebrity Chef Michael Smith taught us how to draw, write songs, and prepare salad dressing, all while drinking plentiful amounts of wine.  This year's agenda is one again full of inspirational and educational speakers, sure to get you prepared for another year of personal and professional success!

Some highlights include:

Jolene Brown, with her "If We Huff and Puff, Will We Blow Your House Down?" presentation, that teaches effective tools for creating a profitable and productive business, worthy of transitioning to the next generation

Candace Carnahan will deliver her keynote address "Half Priced Pedicures", a humorous and uplifting discussion that focuses on the power of positivity and possibility.

Breakout sessions focused on women's health, business management.  A panel featuring previous Canada's Outstanding Young Farmers Award recipients, sharing valuable advice from their journey through agriculture.

Two-time Olympian, Heather Moyse, and her "Believe in the Possibilities" address, that explains the qualities & characteristics it takes to be successful in any occupation.

A Taligate Party, a Formal Banquet where the Hunter Brothers will be keeping the crowd dancing after a lovely served dinner, and SO MUCH MORE!

Have some friends that want to attend?  Consider purchasing an 8-person table for the event, and saving on registration.  Tables will be assigned on a first to register basis.
