2013: The Beginning
Women in AG begins in 2013 as a calendar project amongst friends. The founders, Kim Keller, Jaclyn Baum and Ginelle Waslen, knew there were women throughout Saskatchewan doing exceptional things in agriculture, but they didn’t know how to find them, network with them or learn from them. That gap, the fact there were women already contributing but who lacked an easy way to find and connect with one another, was what sparked the idea of Women In Ag.
